Creating history this weekend
All Stars Media posted Thursday February 16, 2017.
The Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Series is about to create history this weekend. “For the first time in 10 seasons we get the opportunity to compete at Adelaide Motorsport Park and we then get to back it up the following night at Sunline Speedway, Waikerie. This will also be our first double header weekend and that’s pretty exciting.
Both of these venues are new for us and the support we are getting from our teams shows that they are excited also. With a travelling circus of 11 or so teams this season they are all making the most of the opportunity to run at new tracks.
These shows are also getting to the pointy end of the finish of the series and points are really getting tight adding another level to the weekend. We have had great support from our SA teams this season and now we get to travel the kilometres and they get to perform at home.” Mandy Searle tells us
“It could turn out to be an All Star’s V South Australia fight night with V34 Brenten Farrer, SA75 Chris Solomon, SA44 Dan Evans, V7 Paul Solomon, V4 Phil Lock, SA16 Jack Gartner, SA69 Cody Atkins, V65 Kane Newcombe, SA56 Jarman Dalitz just to name a few All Star regulars running against the South Aussie team of SA42 Jamie Hendry, SA4 Lisa Walker, SA26 Tyson Chambers, SA90 Michael Lovegrove, SA9 Michael Burford, SA96 Darryl Guerin again just to name a few. Running mainly in SA for the past few seasons Mark Caruso’s SA33 is an ex All Star Series Champion and will still will be counted as part of the All Star Team!” says Searle with a grin.
Nominations are in the mid 20’s for both nights and we can guarantee their will be plenty of hard fast racing on both nights. Check out the individual track websites for start time and make sure you come along and be a part of the action.
