Now that the Victorian Government has announcement easing of restrictions which includes a limited number of spectators at race tracks and state borders opening it is time for us to get back to what we love doing. “We can’t thank Blue Ribbon Raceway enough for allowing us the opportunity to kick start our season with the running of the Covid Cup. We need to kick start the season off sooner rather than later so that our teams and fans can get back to doing what they love. I am extremely happy with the car count as everyone assumed we would not be racing until early next year but the guys are keen to have a shakedown before the Series starts so to have 12 or 13 teams ready at such short notice is fantastic. I think this might even be the first race meeting in Victoria for the season. A couple of clubs have held practice days recently but not an actual race meeting, so we are rapt to be involved for Night No 1. ” says Searle
