Chris Solomon used a late race restart to pass leader Daniel Evans with just 3 laps remaining in an exciting A-Main in Round 7 of the Mainline DynoLog Dynameters All Stars Series at Horsham’s Blue Ribbon Raceway.

In an eventful race which saw the lead change on multiple occasions Solomon was sublime in the final stages which saw lap traffic play its part. Paul Solomon was home in 3rd, Phil Lock 4th and Jack Gartner having his best result for the season in 5th.

Daniel Evans took the win in the Essendon Ford Pole Shootout and in doing so won the right to start from pole in the 30 lap decider. Chris Solomon lined up alongside him with Paul Solomon and Michael Tancredi occupying the second row. Brayden Cooley backed up his earlier Quick Time starting 5th and Jesse Nicholas 6th. With rain looming the 4 wide was dropped and the race was on. Front markers got away quickly while mid markers were dicing for the own positions lap traffic quickly came into play. Farrer was working his way thru the field but bought the yellows on going into turn 2. Starting rear with only 3 laps to go managed to drive his way back up to 9th. Cooley, Nicholas, Atkins & Thompson were the mid markers having their own fight for positions mid pack.

In scorching conditions and on a track that threw up plenty of challenges, heat racing was frantic with wins going to Chris Solomon, Paul Solomon, Birthday Boy Jesse Nicholas and Andy Thompson.
Earlier in the night the SA76 of Brayden Cooley set Quick Time in the Oval Express Magazine Time Trial session. In doing so Cooley also picked up his maiden Quick Time and for his efforts picked up a 12 Month Subscription to Oval express Magazine. Cooley’s time of 16.002 was better than the 16.029 set by V7 Paul Solomon in second. He was followed by SA75 Chris Solomon with a 16.111, the SA44 of Daniel Evans with a 16.210 and the SA56 of Jarmin Dalitz with a 16.217 lap.
