All Star’s favourite driver is making a return this Saturday for the opening night of the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Series. Phil Lock (AKA Farmer Phil) is finally returning to the series he has been a part of for the past 17 seasons. “Locky is a true All Star Legend and we are thrilled to see him back on track. It’s not just Locky it’s his entire team, Murray, Jayden, Pary, Nicole, Jacko, Kev, Katrina, Chris, Tracey – to name just a few of Team Lock; they have all played a significant part of our All Star family and we welcome them home.” Mandy Searle says.
Up until a couple of seasons ago Lock had only missed one series round just proving his dedication to both the All Stars and 360’s. As the years went on, he became the unofficial ambassador and mentor of younger drivers as they came along; but it wasn’t just him alone it was the entire Team that helped/mentored/encouraged all the new names that choose to run the All Stars. Farmer Phil is a welcome addition back.
A solid 21 car field will line up for the opening round – AU1 Mark Caruso, SA3 Ben Morris, V10 Steve Loader, SA14 Brendan Quinn, D21 Zac Farrer, V91 Dan Scott, VA95 Dave Donnegan, V95 Ryan Davis, SA 96 Brendan Guerin just a few of the names joining the list of titans released earlier in the week.
